With different sports each week and nutrition learning games, children will be involved in a fun, safe sporting environment that focuses on their fundamental movements, healthy eating habits and mindset.
Testimonials
“Mini champions encourages children to engage in physical activity in a fun and educational way. In 2017-2018 1 in 4 children aged 4-15y.o. were overweight or obese (AIHW, 2020). Factors contributing to childhood obesity include insufficient physical activity, increased consumption of energy dense, low-nutrient foods and increased screen time. Negative past experiences in sport activities can discourage children from being physically active due to poor self-esteem and anxiety. Mini champions allows a fun, safe and supportive environment for children to be involved in sporting activities. Additionally, the program enhances the development of gross motor skills such as jumping, hopping, catching, throwing and running. “
